An Eclectic Group of Inspiring Joy
Another aggregate auxiliary Group throughout the f8thHOUSE Association of Churches. The only difference between a Choir and a Praise Team, is the number of participants in the Group. Choirs are typically larger Groups and PR8ISE Teams are made up of a much smaller number of participants. Some noticeable differences, depending on the House, may be:
PR8ISE Teams
• May generally do Praise and Worship
• Usually set the tone or prepare the atmosphere
• May do more modern, ensemble type and/or contemporary
Choirs
• May generally do Congregational songs, Gospel or Anthems
• May add more choreographically dramatic movements to songs
• May use conductors, lead singers and wear matching robes
• Are more prone to a cappella and even occasional solos
f8thCHOIR™... like PR8ISE™ Believers must also meet requirements in order to join and participate.
• Must be a member of f8thHOUSE Ministries
• Must have completed new member's class
• Must complete f8thWORSHIP™ Orientation
• Must have time to commit to rehearsals
• Must submit and complete vocal training if you have zeal but no chops
• Must fellowship with f8thPRAISE Believers
• Must be found f8thFUL™ to God, Study and a Believer's lifestyle
• Must attend all mandatory Meetings
Because f8thCHOIR™ is a larger Group of participants, the type of outings usually vary on a more intimate feel. Like alternating home cookouts, game nights or even collaborating with Sister Choirs within the Association for inspirational Gospel concerts. They also tend to enjoy more group oriented events, like sport competitions (i.e. Softball, Volleyball or Bowling) as well. There are no Harden rules as to how either Group fellowships. Just as long as they do. Fellowshipping builds camaraderie and bonds the Group to a kinship that usually exist beyond musical affiliations.
f8thCHOIR™ is notorious for bringing a large group of voices together to deliver an incredible cadence of in tune melody. The harmonious sounds inspire corporate participation from the congregation of Believers. What Pastor Dan likes about Choirs is that he can sing to his hearts content and hide among the congregation, not to be detected as the sole breach in Harmony.
